Privacy Policy

Spark Growth is a small independent YouTube channel and website, run by two people from Portugal. For the purposes of the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, we are the data controller for this website.

You can reach us at say@hellosparkgrowth.com about anything on this page.

We do not ask you to create an account, and there is no login on the public site. You can read everything here without telling us who you are.

What is collected happens automatically:

• Standard server information. Our host records the usual technical details of a page request, including IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. This is how any website works.
• Meta Pixel. We run Meta's advertising pixel. It tells Meta that a browser visited a page here, so we can understand whether our advertising works. Meta may connect that to a Facebook or Instagram account it already recognises. We never send Meta your name or email address.
• Nothing else, for now. There is no newsletter signup, no contact form and no comment box on this site today. If we add one, this page changes first.

The Meta Pixel sets cookies. If you would rather it did not, you can block third-party cookies in your browser, use a content blocker, or adjust your advertising preferences directly with Meta. Everything on this site works normally with those cookies blocked.

These are the services we use that can see something about your visit:

• Cloudflare hosts the site and serves every page.
• Meta receives pixel events, as described above.
• Neon is our database. It holds our own content, not visitor profiles.
• Fourthwall runs our shop and delivers our ebooks. If you buy something, you are their customer for that purchase and their privacy policy applies to it. We never see your card details.
• Amazon receives a referral tag when you follow a book link from our Books page. We earn a small commission if you buy. We do not learn what you bought.
• YouTube and Google apply when you watch our videos. That happens on their platform, under their terms, not ours.
• Resend delivers email we send.

Some of these companies are based outside the European Economic Area, so your data may be processed outside it. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.

We keep the analytics and advertising data described above only as long as it is useful, and generally no longer than 24 months. Data held by the third parties above is kept according to their own policies, which we do not control.

If you are in the EU or UK you have the right to ask us for a copy of any personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time.

Email say@hellosparkgrowth.com and we will answer within 30 days. In practice, because we hold very little, the honest answer is usually that there is nothing to send you.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In Portugal that is the CNPD.

This site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect anything about them.
